Get to Know Us

The Green Sheet is a grassroots e-guide providing wealth-building tips and tools and promoting pro-DEI businesses for the DEI and Accessibility community. We're dedicated to helping diverse communities navigate the financial uncertainties of the current anti-DEIA social and economic climate in the United States.

Hands joined together

What WE Care About

1

Diversity

All voices, cultures, creeds, colors, genders, and ethnicities deserve to be heard and respected to achieve equity in outcomes. All people are made in the image of God and thrive in a world that makes room for a variety of experiences.

2

What makes us human is our capacity to be fair and just, especially in a way that carefully considers and seeks to address existing inequalities. Equity builds a level, truthful, and inclusive playing field for all people.

Equity

3

Planning for and meeting the needs of a variety of people including people with physical or intellectual disabilities and members of other minority groups creates inclusive access to opportunities and resources for all.

INCLUSION

Pure Beauty

4

Accessibility

The necessities of life need to be easily reached, entered, or used by people who have a disability. Making these adjustments ensures that they contribute to education, society, commerce, health policy and other services.

5

Investment

Our strategy is to learn about investing money for profit and material gain alongside our subscribers as a means to uplift everyone in the DEIA community. We present journies to financial independence to inspire readers.

6

Responsibility

We have a duty to deal with the issues of life, to care for those whose lives are in our hands, and to be accountable for the state of social justice for the DEIA community. We commit to our loved ones and to our neighbors.

01.

I started my investment diary the day President Trump signed the Executive Order for the rollback of DEI hiring initiatives in the Federal Government. I saw the correlation between this and ensuing joblessness and I wanted to personally commit to finding additional ways to survive financially, personally and as a member of the DEIA community.

02.

I decided to share my journey in a weekly e-newsletter to garner interest and support, to encourage others to share their stories, and to walk soberly into financial optimism rather than drowned in economic ignorance.

03.

As the founder of The Green Sheet, I am passionate about sharing my journey weekly in its pages. I'm using each page to brief readers  with bite-sized facts, statistics, insights, and ideas about wealth building, supporting DEIA programs, budgeting and saving money, and keeping faith, hope, and love as a beloved child of God.  -- Candace Bazile
